Quantum of Solace:
The announcement was made that this was to be the title of the 22nd Bond film
on 24th January. While the title of this movie has been taken from Ian Fleming's
short story, it has been stressed by the production team that this is not the basis
of the story which was conceived during production of Casino Royale as early as
2006.
According to Ben Macintyre of Times Online, the Governor character in the Ian
Fleming short story of the same name defines it as "... a precise figure defining
the comfort, humanity and fellow feeling required between two people for love to
survive. If the quantum of solace is nil, then love is dead."
It has been hinted that this film is somewhat of a continuation of Casino Royale
while it has not yet been confirmed. However, both Rene Mathis and Mr White
both reappear in Quantum of Solace who at the end of the last film looked set
never to appear again.

divorced in 1972 he moved to Liverpool with his older sister
Lea where he grew up. After a number of school play roles
and encouragement from his mother he applied to National
Youth's Theatre. He was accepted and moved down to

seriousness to the James Bond role while maintaining the
usual cocky humour.
There were many that said they enjoyed Casino Royale but
for them Daniel Craig can not be James Bond. After all he is
blonde. However, this is because the producers are trying to
produce a more serious Bond which is more than an action
film. Moreover, Daniel Craig has more muscles than all of
the previous Bonds combined as shown right. This means
he tends use brute strength rather than intelligence to
defeat his enemies and save the world.
Many cinema goers asked the question who is when he was
chosen to play James Bond. However, unlike his
predecessors his has an impressive career already and
most recently he appeared as Lord Aisrael in the Golden
Compass. His impressive roles include the lead in the gritty
crime thriller Layer Cake where he stars alongside the
gorgeous Sienna Miller. While he has a number of former
roles that also means he has recently turned 40 with his
best years ahead of him.

He was voted as Esquire's best dressed male in 2006
