This a nice film albeit very predictable at times
but then that is to be expected in the world of
cliche animated films. The film focuses on a
young car's bid to become a racing car
champion. He gets over confident and needs to
focus on what is important before he can
succeed if succeed at all. He meets plenty of
other cars along the way adding humour. As
with all films of this genre there is plenty of
adversity and numerous predictable twists.
As is usually with films of this genre the voices
provide by people like Owen Wilson make the
film and are excellent. They make you laugh
and keep you interested. It is just a shame that
the plot was not as good as other films of this
genre.
There is some romance between the
budding star and another car, which for
some viewers may be somewhat ridiculous.
As you would expect this film's main
component is it's humour. However, there is
not enough humour to support the weak plot.
If you are a fan of the other Pixar films you will
enjoy this film but it is definitely not their best
work. If you do not normally like films of this
genre then this film is not for you.
